Having faced many of her own challenges with trauma/traumatic loss, Bri is well-versed in understanding and helping work through the layers required to go from day-to-day struggle, to being able to live freely and open in a way that may seem impossible.  Whether feeling unable to function, or feeling sensitive or over-reactive to certain relationships and situations, Bri guides you through the process to quickly feel better and loves being able to support her clients in this powerful way. 

Bri's goal in assisting her clients is to create immediate relief from the most pressing issues using very effective somatic techniques, and then layer by layer working on the larger beliefs that are preventing her clients from living the life they want and deserve.  While these issues and layers are being addressed, clients find that self-sabotage decreases, wants/needs/clarity are created and prioritized, and clients feel better equipped to manage daily challenges, relationship issues, and an ability to listen to and trust their own intuition moving forward while feeling a deeper level of ease and joy.

  • Free 15 minute consultation

Over phone or video chat, we can discuss your main concerns and see if our working together would be a good fit.  Finding a therapist that is a good fit for you is important!

  • 60 minute intake session

If you are ready to commit to a session without wanting a consult, then we will start with an intake, otherwise this is step 2.  In this initial session, we will discuss further what brought you to reach out and what your goals are, as well as gather information about the important people and events in your life that have influenced where you are today.

Techniques

In addition to using a mixture of Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy approaches, Bri is trained in the following techniques to incorporate a somatic level as well:

  • Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET): similar to EMDR and Brainspotting, NET is a mind-body technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress.   • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or "Tapping"): a form of psychological acupressure based on the same energy meridian points as traditional acupuncture.  Tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem (traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc.) and voice positive affirmations. Read more...
